Answers to Federal Lawmakers' Efforts to Hobble Title X:  New NHeLP Q&A Explains How Efforts to Weaken Title X Funding Could Affect Women

Recently the Trump administration rescinded a 2016 rule aimed at ensuring women are able to access federally funded programs dedicated to family planning services.

In "Q&A: Recent Action Undermines Title X Program and Threatens Women's Health," Staff Attorney Candace Gibson and Senior Attorney Catherine McKee explain what Title X is and how the action of Congress and the Trump administration could affect women's access to vital health care services.

The authors note that "Title X is a critical source of support for family planning providers.
